Privacy policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026. PrintShip is a demonstration store. This page shows the policy a live store of this kind would publish; no real orders, payments or deliveries take place on this site.
1. What we collect
Only what we need to make and deliver your order: your name, mobile number, email, delivery address, and the photos and text you add to your design.
2. How we use it
- Your photos and designs are used only to print your order. Our production team and print partners see them for that purpose only.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or bank details.
- Delivery: your name, address and phone number are shared with our print partners and courier partners to deliver your order.
- Updates: we use your mobile number and email to send order and delivery updates.
3. Sharing
We don't sell your data. We share it only with the partners above, and with government authorities when the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside India, with safeguards required by Indian law.
4. How long we keep it
Uploaded photos and print files are deleted 90 days after delivery. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require (currently up to 8 years).
5. Your rights
You can ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, erase it (where we are not required by law to keep it), withdraw your consent, and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. In a live store you write to the Grievance Officer, who responds within 30 days.
In this demo
Your photos, designs, cart and demo orders stay in your own browser on this device. Nothing is uploaded to a server. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of it.
6. Security
We use HTTPS across the site and limit access to your data to people who need it to serve you. No method is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and will tell you and the authorities if a breach affects you, as the law requires.
7. Grievance Officer
This is a demo, so there is no support desk or grievance contact. In a live store, this section names the Grievance Officer and how to reach them, as Indian consumer and data protection rules require. A live store acknowledges complaints within 48 hours and aims to resolve them within one month; customers may also approach the Data Protection Board of India.
